This 1975 Honda Civic hit the auction block this week. It was originally sold new in California over 40 years ago and still shows only 11,000 miles. It was always garaged when not on the road which has kept it in pristine condition. Decked out with Honda's 1488cc CVCC four-cylinder pumping out a whopping 53 horsepower and a 4-speed manual gearbox. It also comes with the original window sticker and a dealer accessory sheet highlighting magnesium wheels and radial tires as the selected options. This Civic is now being offered with a clean California title in the seller's name.

This was the first year that Civics were widely available in the United States. With Code Y3 Caroline Yellow paint, this beautiful automobile shows well in outdoor lighting. The owner says that the car has remained unmodified.

This vehicle has been driven less than 100 miles in the last 4 years. The cabin is finished in black vinyl and came with an AM radio, folding rear seat, full carpeting, tinted glass, and hinged rear quarter windows as standard equipment. A/C was one of the only factory options available but wasn't added to this car. 10,874 miles are displayed on the odometer.

Honda introduced its Controlled Vortex Combustion Chamber this year, which meant the car could meet emission standards set by the first Clean Air Act without needing unleaded fuel or a catalytic converter. Not only did this help the '75 Civic meet the EPA emissions tests, but it also got it the top rating for fuel economy.

The original window sticker highlighting an MSRP of $3,089 is included along with an owner's manual, dealer accessory sheet, and a spare set of keys.

The auction just ended and sold for over $15,000US!
